Are you saying Nano or Na.. No....

Obviously I am referring to the Tata's World Cheapest car "Nano"

Many are discussing whether this a blessing or a disguise?

Of course there will the obvious two dimension of yes and no or may be other as well....
Today it will be irrelevant to argue should this have happened or not... as we already have the car now...

What caught the attention was the description and the reasons on how the car developed....

The first design criteria - a $2.5K price tag...and then the pencil started to draw...... and i don't see that as wrong...

What makes it good design or a compromised design.......

Amongst all other details published, ... in order to keep the price low, Tata has invested in innovative design, collaborations,expertise, ..

But one small factor caught my attention

Tata has NOT included the left wing mirror and the reason - reduction in cost....


However any responsible driver, cannot imagine driving a vehicle without a left wing mirror, on a keep left driving roads.. how do you attempt to slow down and come off the road or turn left... don't you compromise safety of the driver as well as all others on the left side of the road or even the pedestrians......


This is how I see that the design has compromised the safety aspect for the car owner (driver) or the public..... Are wing mirrors for looking before your turn or for just looks.. or mere cost components or expansion kits.....

Interestingly this is how one can also argue the existence of this car for India.....good or just cheap....

Has Tata compromised aspects like left wing mirror on the larger context.....

First Post - mind share....

After several years as a thought, finally i took the all important step of starting my blog.

Hesitation and overcoming this initial inertia, taking the initiative has always been a delayed process and one of my biggest drawbacks all through my experiences.

Many times, not taking it was the bigger mistake. Of course attempts were not all successful but at least I had tried. So let me start this with same focus...

The reason to start this blog was very simple:

Grow to a new dimension..

I want to take the topics of my mind and share with equal-minded people and move on.

Off late, I wanted to know how many share my view not necessarily agree but share it to discuss, deliberate, motivate, implement, develop etc.... not necessarily argue against or take it down...
I want to know if my view point makes sense beyond me by how far and few....

I want to view simple and find many share that..... I am not into preaching,, however believe that if one looks at a way because it is one possible option not necessarily everyone or anyone should look that way. It will be interesting to know along the way how many others have similar mind-share, looking at the same direction but may not be to the same destination.

So what I want to gain here is people to share the same direction but not the paths or the destination.

Any direction, exchange with others is as interesting and motivating....

So I open this domain of sharing, I would like to share my thoughts and invite more constructive follow ups, grow all along a different dimension or even take it to other possibilities...
